Double Take, new drawing of mare and foal
by Sheona Hamilton-Grant on 11/13/2007 4:04:00 AM

"Double Take" 17" x9", pencil on paper
First of my winter inspired drawings.
Double Take is based on a photograph I took last winter of a mare and foal out for an early morning trundle.  The way they both harmoniously walked past me really highlights the unity that exists between mare and foal for the first half year of the youngsters life.
